Thinking, Memory, and Job Experience Study for Healthy Volunteers
Protocol: STUDY00006221
Full Title
Computer-Based Cognitive Assessment and Web-Based Work Status Monitoring in Relapsing Multiple Sclerosis Patients Treated with Ozanimod
Description
The University at Buffalo (UB) Department of Neurology is looking for healthy adult volunteers for a study on thinking, memory, and job experiences. The goal of the study is to better understand how thinking and memory are impacted for people with multiple sclerosis (MS) and the link this may have to job experiences. Our healthy volunteers will serve as the “control group” for the study. This means that they will not receive any treatment. Their survey answers will be used as a benchmark (or a standard) to compare the answers of participants with MS.

Participation will involve one in-person visit to the UBMD Neurology Clinic (located at 1001 Main Street, 4th Floor, Buffalo, NY 14203; free parking is available). This visit will include filling out several memory/thinking surveys and an online survey on job experiences. This study visit should take about 1.5 hours and participants will be paid $50. For the next 2-year period, participants will be asked to complete the online job experience survey every 3 months (for a total of 8 times). They will be paid $20 for each survey that is completed.
