Toddler Tastes Study
Protocol: STUDY00008595
Full Title
Developing tailored clinical recommendations for promoting children's healthy food preferences
Description
Help us learn more about toddler taste preferences! The University at Buffalo (UB) Department of Pediatrics is looking for families with young children aged 18 to 36-months-old for a new study. The research team is interested in learning more about how young kids react to eating vegetables to see if there is a way to help kids to like and accept vegetables better.

Families will be enrolled in the study for about 6 weeks. They will complete 2 study visits on the UB South Campus (at Main Street and Bailey Avenue), each of which will last no more than 1 hour. At the visits, the child will play with toys and taste a vegetable. Families will also complete 8 at-home vegetable-tasting activities and short surveys over a 4-week period, with all vegetables provided.

Families can earn up to $150 for completing all study parts.
