Word Retrieval-Adults
Protocol: STUDY00004740
Full Title
Mechanisms of Word Retrieval in Adults
Description
The University at Buffalo (UB) Adult Language Network Lab is recruiting healthy adults for an in-person study on word retrieval (or our ability to access words from memory and produce them with speech). The goal of the study is to learn more about the different factors that can impact word retrieval.

Participants will complete a 2-3 hour-long study visit to the UB South Campus (at Main Street and Bailey Avenue). During the visit, they will be asked to listen to words through a computer and decide if they sound similar. They will also complete a short survey about their demographic information, and several other tests involving thinking and memory.

Participants will be paid $20/hour for participating in this study.
