Do you enjoy riding a bike? Are you interested in helping to learn more about virtual realities (VRs)? Then joining this study might be right for you!


The University at Buffalo (UB) School of Engineering is looking for adults for an in-person study at the UB North Campus. The research team is studying how to develop new designs of bike infrastructure to increase safety within work zones.


Eligible participants will attend a 65-95 minute in-person study visit. They will complete a survey, ride a stationary bike in various VR environments, and complete another survey. They will also have their heart rate measured and eye movements tracked.


Participants will earn a $20 gift card after completing the 1-hour lab visit.

Eligibility
-Adults 18 years or older
-Able to ride a bike
-Have normal or corrected-to-normal vision
-Are not colorblind
-Speak, read, and write in English
-Have access to the internet
