Survivor Moms' Companion: A Perinatal PTSD Program
Description
The University at Buffalo (UB) School of Social Work is looking for pregnant or postpartum people who have survived childhood abuse for an education program. The goal of the program is to provide information about how past abuse and trauma can affect pregnancy and birth.

Participants will be assigned a program tutor at the Buffalo Prenatal-Perinatal Network. There is no cost for participants for the program workbook materials or tutor sessions. Participants will be invited to complete a minimum of 4 of 10 program modules and attend weekly 30-minute phone or in-person sessions with their tutor. They will also be asked to complete 2 survey interviews. They will receive a $30 gift card for completing the first survey and a $40 gift card for the second survey.
