Unveiling Engagement and Algorithmic Biases in Social Media Data Collection and Analysis: An Experimental Study
Description
The University at Buffalo (UB) Department of Communication is conducting a study focused on gathering feedback on a new social networking platform.

Participants will be enrolled in this study for about 30 minutes. They will first complete a survey that will ask them questions about their background and social media use. Then they will interact with the social networking platform and answer a few follow-up questions. Participants will receive $6 for completing the study.

Eligibility
-Adults 18 years or older
-Use social media
-Have access to a smart device (such as a smartphone, tablet, or laptop) for completing the survey
