Beliefs About Growth in Kids and Teens
Protocol: STUDY00010195
Full Title
Beliefs about weight and healthy growth in adolescents: measurement, impact, and possible intervention target? A pilot study
Description
As children and teens grow up, some may begin struggling with eating problems. A research team from UB wants to learn what kids and teens believe about growth and are designing a survey that can collect information about these beliefs. The team is hoping to learn how common beliefs may relate to eating behaviors and body image.

Participants will be in the study for one month. They will complete a virtual study visit to answer surveys and questions relating to growth, development, eating patterns, and body image. This will take about 1.5 hours. 30 days later, they will complete the same surveys online a final time.

Participants will be paid up to $80.
