Implications of occupational heat stress and body composition on kidney function
Description
The University at Buffalo (UB) Department of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences is looking for healthy adults aged 18 to 44 years old for a walking study. Researchers are hoping to learn more about how heat and exercise may impact kidney function. The study results may help to improve the safety of workers and improve kidney function.

Participants will attend 3 study visits (totaling about 10.25 hours) on the UB South Campus (at Main Street and Bailey Avenue). They will walk on a treadmill in a warm room and provide blood/urine samples.

Participants may earn up to $250 for completing all study parts.

Eligibility
- 18-44 years old
- Self-reported to be healthy
- No tobacco or electronic cigarette use within the last 2 years
- Not pregnant or breastfeeding
