The goal of the study is to see if the study drug (retatrutide) can help to control blood sugar levels and manage weight in people with T2D. Read More
Eligibility:
-Adults 18 years or older
-Have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) AND kidney disease
-Are using basal insulin alone or with metformin/SGLT2 inhibitors to treat their T2D
-Are not underweight
-Have a blood glucose (sugar) level (also known as HbA1C) of 7.0% to 10.5%
-Are fluent in English

This is a prospective cohort observational study to develop a personalized medicine algorithm to determine optimum Tac dose throughout the early stages of kidney transplantation based on gene markers and gut microbiome composition.
