E-Cigarette Study for Young Adults
Protocol: STUDY00008947
Full Title
Measuring E-cigarette Use in Real Time via Wearable Sensor
Description
Are you a young adult between the ages of 18 to 25 years old? Do you currently use e-cigarettes? If so, you might be eligible for a new study from the University at Buffalo (UB) School of Nursing!

The goal of the study is to test whether a smartwatch can accurately detect the use of e-cigarettes. The research team hopes to identify the potential of using a smartwatch as a real-time e-cigarette detection method.

Participants will complete an hour-long in-person study visit at Roswell Park. During the visit, they will wear a smartwatch and complete different activities, including eating, drinking, and using e-cigarettes. The study visit will be recorded to allow the research team to compare the activities of the study visit to the information collected by the smartwatch.

Participants will receive $50 for completing the study visit.
