Aging and Driving Study
Protocol: STUDY00008614
Full Title
Investigation of the neural underpinnings of declining driving performance in aging adults
Description
Are you an active driver? Are you interested in helping researchers learn more about how the brain changes as we age? If so, then this study might be right for you!

The University at Buffalo (UB) is looking for adults aged 25-35 or 65+ years old for a new study. The research team is studying brain processes related to driving. The results from the study may be used to help aging adults maintain active and safe driving habits.

The study involves two visits that will each last 1.5-2.5 hours. One visit will take place on the UB South Campus (at Main Street and Bailey Avenue) and the other at the UB North Campus (on Maple Avenue in Amherst). During the study visits, participants will complete short surveys, tasks involving thinking and memory, and a simulated driving task.

Participants can earn up to $90 for completing all parts of the study.
