Survey of Smoking Cessation and QuitLine Knowledge in Community Settings
Description
The University at Buffalo (UB) Department of Community Health and Health Behavior is conducting a survey study for adults who smoke and attend either the Seneca-Babcock Food Pantry or the Lighthouse Free Medical Clinic. The goal of the study is to raise awareness about the free services available to help community members quit smoking cigarettes.

Participants will complete a 20-minute initial survey and a follow-up 5-minute phone call one month later. They will be asked questions about their background, their smoking habits, and their knowledge of the QuitLine for smokers. They will be given access to free smoking cessation support services and a $5 prepaid gift card for participating in this study.

Eligibility
-Adults 21 years or older
-Currently smoke cigarettes
-Attend the Seneca-Babcock Food Pantry or the Lighthouse Free Medical Clinic
-Fluent in English
