Full Title
Identifying barriers to dental care access among disadvantaged adolescents.
Description
The University at Buffalo (UB) School of Dental Medicine is looking for a parent/legal guardian and one teen per household for a dental survey study. The goal of this study is to learn more about the reasons families do not go to the dentist on a regular basis. The results from this study may allow us to develop strategies to help people from underrepresented groups have better access to dental care.

This study involves surveys that can be completed on a smart device (such as a phone, computer, or tablet). Parent/legal guardian and teen will complete one survey that will take about 30 minutes. Families will receive a digital $20 Prepaid Debit Card for Research Participants in this study. One compensation per household.

Eligibility
Teens between the ages of 12-17 years old and one parent/guardian Able to read in English From an underrepresented background based on race, income level, living in a rural area, etc.
