Multi-Center Prospective Evaluation of Complex Adult Spinal Deformity Surgery (CADS)
Description
Patients of the UBMD spinal clinic in need of spinal surgery are invited to take part in a study. Researchers are hoping to learn more about how spinal surgery may improve a person’s spine, pain relief, and overall health.

During a routine clinic visit, patients diagnosed with spinal deformity (or when the spine is curved instead of straight) may be given information about the study. Those that decide to participate will be in the study for 10 years and will answer surveys, have physical exams, X-rays, and blood work during their routine care.

Eligibility
Adults 18 years or older who have been diagnosed with a spinal deformity and are patients of the UBMD spinal clinic
