Project ASTHMA - Aligning with Schools to Help Manage Asthma and Decrease Health Inequities
Description
The University at Buffalo (UB) Department of Pediatrics is recruiting kids with asthma for the Project ASTHMA (Aligning with Schools To Help Manage Asthma) study. The goal of the study is to see if doctors can help to decrease asthma symptoms in Buffalo students aged 4 to 13 years old with more severe asthma.

Kids who participate will receive asthma evaluations and breathing tests for one school year in their school’s health center. Families will receive up to $160 for completion of all study parts

Eligibility
Students who attend Buffalo schools that are between the ages of 4 to 13 years old Diagnosed with asthma at least 12 months before enrollment in the study Have asthma that is not well controlled
