EQUIPT: Evaluating Quality of life In Period Treatment
Description
The University at Buffalo (UB) Department of Pediatrics and Western New York BloodCare is looking for young adults who report heavy period bleeding for a study. The goal of the study is to investigate different types of treatment for teens with heavy period bleeding. The researchers also hope to gather data on why young adults may stop their treatment for heavy period bleeding.

Participants will be enrolled in the study for about 15 months. They will complete surveys at 3 different times during routine clinic visits. Participants will earn $10 for completing the first survey and $10 for completing the third survey.

Eligibility
Young adults aged 9 – 21 years old Self-report heavy period bleeding Have been diagnosed with a bleeding disorder OR are being evaluated for a bleeding disorder Are patients of Western New York BloodCare
Age Group: Both
