Evaluating Quantitative and Qualitative Factors that Impact Persons Living with HIV Decisions Regarding Lung Cancer Screening
Description
The University at Buffalo (UB) Department of Medicine is looking for adults living with HIV that smoke cigarettes for an interview study. The goal of the study is to learn more about the risk for lung cancer for people living with HIV.

Participants will complete a 30-to-40-minute interview either in person or over the phone. The interview will ask questions about knowledge of lung cancer risk and factors that might prevent a person from completing lung cancer screenings. Participants will receive a $20 gift card.

Eligibility
Adults between the ages of 50 to 80 years old Have been diagnosed with HIV Are currently a smoker of cigarettes OR have quit smoking cigarettes in the last 15 years
