New Device Trial for Patients of GVI with Brain Aneurysms

Flow Re-Direction Endoluminal Device X (FRED??? X???) Post-Approval Study (Fred X PAS Study)
Description
The University at Buffalo (UB) Department of Neurosurgery is enrolling patients of Gates Vascular Institute (GVI) that have been diagnosed with a brain aneurysm for a new clinical trial. The goal of the study is to learn more about the safety and effectiveness of a new device (the FRED X device) in treating people with brain aneurysms.

Participants will be enrolled in the study for 5 years. Following the surgery to implant the study device, they will complete follow-up visits at 30 days, 6-months, 12-months, 2-years, 3-years, and 5-years. Throughout the study, participants will complete physical exams, lab tests, and surveys.

Adults 22 to 75 years old Have been diagnosed with an aneurysm in a brain artery Not currently pregnant
