Nutrition Study for People Living with Cancer
Protocol: STUDY00005648
Full Title
A pilot, feasibility study of intermittent caloric restriction plus plant-based diet in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy
Description
Research has shown that changes in what we eat may affect the growth and spread of tumors. To learn more, researchers from the University at Buffalo are looking at how changing the amount of food we eat may help the body to respond better to cancer treatment.

People living with cancer and chemotherapy are invited to apply. Eligible participants will be paired with a dietitian. They will receive information on how to change their diet on certain days before they have treatment. They will also receive menus and recipes. During the study, they will check-in with their dietitian and receive nutrition advice.
