The University at Buffalo, through the Research Foundation for the State University of New York, is dedicated to streamlining the process of negotiating Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements and Clinical Trial Agreements with our Industry partners in an effort to facilitate the timely start-up of industry-sponsored clinical trials that involve our investigators.
We have partnered with more than twenty Industry Sponsors to create Master Clinical Trial Agreements, which minimize the need to negotiate contract terms for each trial. If you anticipate partnering with us on several studies in the future, we invite you to reach out to our Clinical Trial Contract Administrator to develop such an agreement that will serve to accelerate study initiation between UB and your company.
The Office of Sponsored Projects Services (SPS) has signature authority to sign agreements related to clinical research and thereby bind UB and our investigators to the terms and conditions contained in such agreements. Investigators, staff and departments are not authorized to sign agreements on behalf of UB, our affiliates, the State University of New York, or as individuals.
Connect with the Clinical Research Office for more information on cultivating a relationship with the University at Buffalo or finding an expert for your study.
